Jennifer’s musical journey began at the age of 4 with Suzuki method piano. She continued studying piano and music throughout her school years, then in 2005, while studying abroad in Granada, Spain, she discovered flamenco guitar and began learning right away from local maestros. In 2008, her passion for Spanish guitar led her back to Seville Spain, where she would study flamenco and classical guitar at the Conservatory of Music in Seville for 4 years. She stayed in Seville another 5 years after conservatory to continue studying on her own, attending master classes, performing and teaching English as a second language.
At Island Music School, Jennifer provides personalized and engaging lessons that cater to individual learning styles and goals. She offers piano lessons from beginner to upper intermediate levels (grades 1-6) and beginner through advanced acoustic guitar, classical guitar and ukulele lessons.
